Read Alouds Promote Empathy and Kindness

I just came across an excellent resource for books to read and discuss with your child that promote empathy and kindness. According to Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg in his book entitled Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life, empathy involves focusing our attention on what’s going on within others, and it is a key component of healthy communication and conflict resolution.
